NURSERY/TODDLER
Our nursery/toddler staff welcomes you and your child(ren) for Sunday morning worship service! Our Infant/Toddler ministry is provided on Sunday mornings after praise and worship time in our adult service. The children will be dismissed when it is time to go. Our family friendly nursery is located at the foot of the stairs on the west end of our children’s wing (the steps nearest the coffee corner). Nursery care is specially designed for infants through 48 months. There is a room in the nursery for nursing mothers if they wish to have privacy while breastfeeding their babies. This room is also available outside of staffed nursery hours. The first time you leave your child in our care we ask that you fill out a registration form for each child that will be in our care. This provides us important information about your child. All workers are safe place certified and must pass a background check before being allowed to work in the Children's Ministry Program. |
KIDS CHURCH
Our preschool (potty trained) through 5th grade age Kids Church Program is offered beginning at 11:15 on Sunday mornings and is designed to assist parents in guiding children into a relationship with God and grounding them in God's Word so that they may grow in that relationship. Our Mission at Flint First is to Be Disciples and Make Disciples. In order to do this, on Sundays, we offer a more formal kids’ program where a lesson is taught in a fun, inviting way that the kids can relate to. Our goal is to give children the tools to cultivate their own relationship with Christ in the hope that they will gain the confidence and desire to dive even deeper into His word. We help the kids memorize things such as the books of the Bible, The Lord's Prayer, and various Bible verses. The children get a chance to recite this for a trip to the treasure chest! We also have praise and worship time every Sunday where we encourage the children to express themselves freely in their own personal worship of our Lord.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT COMBINED AGES KIDS CHURCH
Wednesday evenings are designed to be more casual so that the children can unwind after a busy day at school. We teach basic Biblical concepts on these nights and have music time along with lots of play time. This children’s ministry program runs from 6:30 - 8 pm.
